Limbic System is the second of my series where I am illustrating the part of the human brain. The limbic system. also known as the paleo mammalian cortex, is a set of brain structures involved with emotional processing and motivation. Its various components function emotion, behavior, long-term memory and olfaction. To me, it seems a lot of these functions are a bit…unbalanced… for those of us on the autistic spectrum. So in this piece, I illustrate it, once again the. buildings being the brain components, and being interfered with by the unwanted mushroom growth, or emotional disregulation.
