Each of these mini sculptures are metaphors for conditions which I personally struggle with. The mushrooms each tell their own story. The mushroom here is the one I most commonly use, the Autumn Skullcap. It is a very toxic mushroom which is also very sly because it closely resembles a delicious nontoxic mushroom. Intrusive thoughts can seem important and real, but left unchecked and given too much credence, can quickly take over your mind. The little figure here is lost amidst the swirling Skullcaps.
