This series is based on the beautiful song “Promise is a Pendulum” by Big Thief. I fell in love with the beautiful lyrics which explored failed relationships, longing, and building back the pieces. I encourage you to follow the link provided to listen to it in its entirety.

Listening to the Memory of the way that it was: Taking lessons from and living with memories and failures. The sunset/sunrise can go either way: the end of a time, the start of something new. The wheat at time of harvest, a time to glean new things to support life. The female orb spider before and after having her eggs, the birthing of her eggs signifying approaching death but new life in her children. The overlayed face representing this natural rebirth in all of us.
